Community Trust Foundation

Our Vision: The CTF connects philanthropy for community good.

The Community Trust Foundation was founded in 2006 as the region’s partner, resource, and steward in philanthropy. The Foundation manages $12 million in charitable assets and administers more than 100 individual funds – each of which supports the unique charitable intent of the donor who established the fund. Annually, the Foundation awards grants and scholarships to support our community and is a  National Standards certified community foundation.

We work in partnership with our donors and community groups to make effective grants to help build better, stronger, more vibrant communities in our region. We welcome you to join the Community Trust Foundation in our mission to strengthen and improve the quality of life in the tri-county area of Allegany, Garrett and Mineral Counties.

We’ll work with you to define your charitable dream and determine the fund type that best meets your unique needs. We help make your charitable dream become reality by providing administrative services and financial management for your philanthropic fund.
