GCBR Homeownership Assistance Fund

This fund supports access to affordable homeownership in Garrett County. The Fund will provide financial assistance to eligible first-time homebuyers, including individuals or households who have not owned a home within the preceding three (3) years. Distributions from the Fund may be used to provide grants of $2,750 per eligible household to assist with down payment and/or closing costs related to the purchase of a primary residence. These grants are non-repayable and are intended to reduce financial barriers for qualifying buyers seeking to secure safe and affordable housing.
