As we move deeper into the season, it’s clear that November has arrived with its usual whirlwind of commitments and competing priorities. Despite everyone’s best intentions, we’ve seen limited response to the Allegany and Mineral County events, and we want to be mindful of the pace and pressures this time of year brings.
Rather than add to the seasonal chaos, we’ve made the thoughtful decision to postpone both events. Our goal is always to create gatherings that feel joyful, well-attended, and mission-centered, something our community genuinely looks forward to. Looking ahead, we’re already planning a larger, tri-county celebration for next year that will echo the spirit of our past Humanitarian events.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we adapt with care and intention.
We are especially grateful to our Allegany and Mineral event planning committees for their creativity, time, and thoughtful input. Their work helped shape a meaningful vision for this celebration, and we look forward to carrying that spirit forward into what comes next.
In the meantime, all three counties continue their fundraising efforts to grow the county funds. While we won’t be gathering in person this month, we hope you’ll join us in continuing to build these unrestricted impact funds for the good of our community. We have a long way to go before reaching our goals, but every gift, large or small, helps us respond to emerging needs, support innovation, and strengthen our region for generations to come.
We can’t do what we do without you, our caring, compassionate donors who make every act of generosity possible. Thank you for standing with us and helping create a stronger, more resilient community for all.
