The Community Trust Foundation (CTF) is pleased to announce that Marcie Nelson has been appointed Director of Administration & Operations, recognizing her expanded leadership role and significant contributions to the Foundation’s operational strength and continuity.
Ms. Nelson has been with the Community Trust Foundation for eight years, during which time she has become a cornerstone of the organization’s day-to-day operations. While previously serving in an administrative capacity, her responsibilities have long reflected a broader scope of leadership, including oversight and coordination of financial reporting, grants and scholarship administration, donor reporting, compliance support, and operational continuity.
In her new role, Ms. Nelson will serve as CTF’s primary operational leader, supporting the Foundation’s growing portfolio of funds, increasing donor activity, and expanding community impact. Her professionalism, judgment, and deep institutional knowledge play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and confidence across staff, Board members, donors, and community partners.
“Marcie’s work has been central to the Foundation’s effectiveness for many years,” said Pamela Twigg, Executive Director of the Community Trust Foundation. “This role formally recognizes the leadership, accountability, and expertise she brings to CTF every day, and it reflects our commitment to stewardship, continuity, and investing in the people who make our mission possible.”
Ms. Nelson’s appointment reflects both the trust she has earned over eight years of service and the critical role she plays in supporting the Foundation’s mission. Her steady leadership and deep knowledge of CTF’s operations continue to be an essential asset to the organization and the communities it serves.
