Saiquan Jenkins was a Fort Hill student-athlete who played football and basketball. Saiquan was known for his athletic ability, but he was much more than that. On October 28th, 2021, Saiquan’s life was taken at just 17 years old, by a fellow student. To some, Saiquan is remembered by how his life ended; however, to those who knew him he is remembered by his kindhearted, courageous, and care-free personality. Saiquan had proven his ability to overcome adversity time and time again in his life, which was one of his most admirable qualities. He was known by his coaches and teachers for his hard work and his determination to become better both on the field and in the classroom. While many knew him by these things, he was known by ALL as someone who would “light up a room”.
