The Community Trust Foundation (CTF) is honored to announce the establishment of the Sheirer Wilkinson Potomac State College Fund, created by Pamela Sheirer Wilkinson and John Wilkinson.
Both Pam and John were active in the Potomac State College Alumni Association, having variously served as board members and officers over the years. As part of their estate plans, Pam and John established the Sheirer Wilkinson Potomac State College Alumni Association Fund, dedicated to supporting scholarships and enrichment activities through the Potomac State College Alumni Association with the Community Trust Foundation, Inc. Their vision is to empower students across diverse fields of study, strengthen alumni engagement, and enhance the College’s operations.
“Potomac State College gave us not only a strong academic foundation, but friendships that have lasted a lifetime. The Potomac State College Alumni Association helps promote and maintain those connections while at WVU Potomac State College and beyond. It is our hope that this fund will allow the alumni association to continue to help future students experience the same opportunities and enduring connections,” said the Wilkinsons.
“Pamela Sheirer Wilkinson and John Wilkinson’s enduring commitment to Potomac State College is a powerful reflection of the impact the institution has had on their lives,” said Leah Shaffer, Executive Director of the Community Trust Foundation. “Through the establishment of this fund, they are investing not only in scholarships and enrichment opportunities, but also in the strength of alumni connections that support students and the College for generations to come.”
